At this station the shape of the guitar is cut. Here Mike Shannon (another original Charvel / Jackson employee) shows us a couple of the templates that are used in this process.

 This is the original template used to make Randy Rhoad's first guitar. Check out how small the headstock is.



 Here is the template that is used for Dave Mustaine's King V double neck.

 The guitar's are then brought to this section of the factory for pickup and tremolo routing.



 The routing takes place using these machines.

 Here Juan Rodrigues (another original Charvel Jackson employee) shows us how the fingerboard is prepared before the frets are installed.

 This is also the station where the custom inlays are installed.
