The bodies are completely sanded by hand before being sent off to the paint room. 

 The necks are masked off and the logo is installed at this point.

 Here we see first hand a sunburst finish being applied to a King V.



 The guitars are then left to dry for several days in a special temperature controlled room.

 The guitars then go through a final sanding process that is done by hand.

 The buffing goes through several stages.
